Community Guidelines

These guidelines exist to keep HQBunker a respectful, informative, and safe place to discuss military and defence topics. They work alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. Respect Fellow Members

Members here come from different branches, ranks, nations, and backgrounds. Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, harassment, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated.

2. Mind Operational Security (OPSEC)

Never share classified, sensitive, or personally identifying operational information — this includes details about active deployments, unit movements, or anything that could put people at risk. Discuss publicly available information responsibly, and when in doubt, leave it out.

3. Keep It Civil

Hate speech, threats, and content that incites violence have no place here. Political and historical topics can be discussed, but keep the conversation constructive.

4. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Don't use HQBunker to advertise unrelated products, services, or other communities without permission. Repeated off-topic promotional posting will be treated as spam.

5. Post in the Right Place

Our board structure (Categories, Subforums, and Branches) exists to keep discussion organized — take a moment to find the most specific board that fits your topic before starting a new thread.

6. Respect Moderator Decisions

Moderators may pin, lock, edit, or remove content and may mute or ban accounts that violate these guidelines. If you disagree with a decision, contact us through the Contact page rather than escalating in-thread.

7. Report, Don't Retaliate

If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the Report button rather than responding in kind. This helps moderators act quickly and keeps threads on-topic.

8. Consequences

Violations may result in content removal, a temporary mute, or a temporary or permanent ban, depending on severity and history. We aim to be fair and proportionate.
